Filling Starts

Sand is now being dredged from the Mekong (below Chroy Chang Va peninsula) and piped to Boeng Kak.

In flows the sandy water. The sand stays. The water finds its way back to the river while likely causing some serious flooding on the way.

Kids like to perch on things for pictures. This time it’s on pipes being constructed to fill Boeng Kak with sand.
